Our Story
Thank you for your interest in our Future Stars Program! We are a program that has a strong foundation in movement with a learning based curriculum. We believe that movement is important for kids and that it allows for a better, healthier and active lifestyles. We also believe that movement and activity in young children can help increase memory, perception, language, attention, emotion and even improved decision making. Our Flips Future stars staff are ready to support your child in a multitude of areas. We ensure the best possible care for your child with staff that is well trained and take pride in the life lessons that support a happy, healthy and self-motivating life.

All of care options includes transportation to and from the schools that we service. As well included extended day options included in tuition when schools have regularly schedule delayed start and or early dismissal. With Full Day Closures we have your child covered with our Full Day Flips Camps.

Before care begins as early as 6:30, we encourage all families to arrive early and ready to start the day. This allows time for greetings and settling in, making the experience for everyone much more enjoyable. Thank you for your cooperation!
Join our After School Care programs, which runs directly after school until 6:00 PM. Here your child can thrive in a fun and safe environment. Each enrollment includes membership to our Gym Activities program, featuring exciting instruction in tumbling, gymnastics, and ninja obstacles. Let your child explore their physical potential while making new friends and having a blast!
Welcome to our full day care program! We're here to support you from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Your child will enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including weekly themes daily fun in our gym with our active gym program. We're excited to provide nurturing environment where your child can explore and thrive!

Due to the nature of some our camps there may be activity fees associated with the cost. This will be added to your account at the same time as tuition.

Please Note: Camp tuition is due two weeks prior to the start of your camp with a $50 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration.

From exciting junkyard wars to launching rockets and much more, there’s something for everyone. Let’s make memories that will last a lifetime summer!
Week 2 June 23 - 27
Join us for an exciting week of sports and games! Campers will dive into gymnastics and discover a variety of other fun activities. By the end of the week, they’ll even create their own unique game! Plus, don’t miss our trip to Skate Frederick to sharpen those ice skating skills!
Week 3 June 30 - July 1
Join us for an exciting week of life-sized board games fun knows no bounds! From human foosball to giant chutes and ladders, your kids will love immersing themselves in these larger-than-life activities. We'll also be playing tick-tack-toe and human Hungry Hungry Hippos, ensuring there's never a dull moment. To cap off the week, we'll unleash our creativity by designing and crafting our very games!
Week 4 July 7 - 11
Get ready for exciting week of adventure! From Monday to Thursday, our campers will be out and about, enjoying thrilling field trips to places like Sky Zone, Jump Climb Extreme, Boulder Yard, and GTC Rock Shop. We’ll wrap up the week with a fun party and an action-packed NERF war in the gym on Friday. Of course, we’ll still focus on our gymnastics skills and a variety of fun games along the way!
Week 5 July 14 - 18
Get ready for an exciting week filled with challenges! Join us for a Minute to Win It Style game where we’ll test your balance, strength, flexibility, and mental agility. Experience thrilling obstacle courses engaging team and individual challenges, and creative crafts throughout the week. We'll wrap it up with an exhilarating ESCAPE the gym challenge and a fun-filled field trip to Jump Climb Extreme and Boulder Yard!
Week 6 July 21 - 25
Join us for an exciting week of adventure, both in and out of the gym! From Monday to Thursday, we'll embark on thrilling field trips, ending the week with a glow party and a fun game of hide and seek throughout the gym! Enjoy a variety of games, creative crafts, and unforgettable experiences, with trips that may include Me Land,, parks, mini golf, and the water park. Get ready an action-packed week filled with fun and excitement!
Week 7 July 28 - August 1
Join us for a swashbuckling adventure this week as we dive into the world of pirates and mermaids! Get ready for exciting themed games like Titanic and walking the plank on the beam, along with gymnastics rotations, fun games, and creative crafts. Our campers will cap off the week with an unforgettable trip aboard a pirate cruise ship out of Baltimore! Don’t miss out on this thrilling experience!
Week 8 August 4 - 8
Get ready for the ultimate Beach Bash! Grab your goggles and sunscreen, because it's time for fun in the filled with sunshine and unforgettable memories. Enjoy outdoor games, splash around at the water park, and cool off in the pool! Throughout the week, we’ll also have gymnastics rotations, exciting games, creative crafts to keep the good times rolling.

Welcome to Party Palooza! Get ready to celebrate summer like never before with a different exciting party every day! Join us for a glow dance party, a cozy movie & PJ night, an action-packed NERF party, a delightful ice cream social, and a creative craft party to capture all the fun we’ve had this summer! Don’t miss out on the festivities—let’s make unforgettable memories together!

Frederick Camp Tuition Info
Tuition
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for each week registered. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. Any cancellations received less then 2 weeks to the start of camp will receive a refund of 50% of camp tuition. Refunds will be mailed by check or result in a credit in your flips account.

Activity Fees & Extended Day
Activity Fees for camps vary from week to week based on weekly scheduled activities, availability, price or weather. Some weeks like Eats and Treats and Out and About may be more due to the nature of the camp. This applies to all Flips Frederick camps.

2. Pick Up
For pick-up, only parents or guardians registered in your Flips Parent Portal Account are authorized to collect children. Please ensure that a valid driver's license is presented for identification verification at the time of pick-up. Individuals not listed in your parent portal account or documented in writing will not be allowed to pick up. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
3. Transportation
At Flips, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all our campers during field trips with our Flips Vans. We ask that parents or legal guardians provide an appropriate car seat, in accordance with Maryland Law, to help keep our children safe. It is crucial that all campers and staff follow Maryland's safety seat and seat belt laws, including wearing seat belts at all times. Our vehicles are fully insured and driven by licensed individuals who are 21 years or older, ensuring a secure and reliable transportation experience for everyone.
4. Medication During Camp Hours
At Camp, the safety and well-being of your child is our top priority. Please remember that while Flips is not medically trained to administer prescribed medications, our staff is equipped handle emergency situations. If your child has a severe allergy requiring an Epi-pen or any other medical device, kindly include this information in their medical records and inform Camp Staff on your first day at Camp. Your cooperation helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

2. What if I need to pick up my child/ren early?
We understand that sometimes you may need to pick up your child early from camp. Due to our field trips and strict schedule, please inform us in advance so we can guide you on the best way to arrange this. Thank you for your cooperation!
3. How does Swimming Work?
Swimming is one of our most popular activities at camp and the systems we have in place make it one of the safest as well. On the first trip to a pool, staff work with the pool’s lifeguard staff to evaluate each camper’s swim level. Campers are asked to swim the entire length of the pool and do their best to avoid touching either the bottom or side. Campers are either given a green wristband, which allows them to swim in any area of the pool, or a red wristband, which allows them to swim only in the shallow areas of the pool, based upon the lifeguard and Camp staff assessment of the camper’s swimming abilities. Campers may ask to be re-evaluated at any time. Staff remain out of the water to monitor campers at all times. In case of inclement weather while at the pool all staff members phones are equipped with emergency alert system message capabilities that will be on at all times. In the event inclement weather warnings happen campers and staff will immediately seek shelter.
4. How do you take care of my child/ren if they are sick or injured at camp?

All of our staff is certified in CPR and First Aid, and concussion certified. In the event that a sickness or injury prevents your child from returning to normal camp activities, we will notify you by the provided phone numbers in your campers emergency contact information.
